The history of the Worldwide Missionary Movement in Puerto Rico

Through different revelations, where there were visions declared simultaneously to diverse brothers who were in integrity and communion, God affirmed about a great work of world-wide scope.

How do I start this play?

Rev. Luis M. Ortiz was born on September 26, 1918 in Corozal - Puerto Rico, being the eighth child of Don Miguel Ortiz and Doña Aurelia Marrero. Founder and President of the MMM work, since 1963 -1995. He met the Lord Jesus Christ in his childhood, being ten years old he was aware and felt the call of God to the ministry.

.

He felt great pleasure in writing, for this reason at the end of his studies, he began to work in the newspaper "El Mundo", some time later he resigned from this job to obey the Lord, because he had understood that his life was useful in his hands and He wanted to train him in his work. He began to learn the word at the Mizpa Biblical Institute in Puerto Rico, in those precise moments God was subtly dealing with him, with his heart, with his faith, and especially with his call to the Cuban country. One afternoon, while praying and crying out in great humiliation, he surrendered to Christ to submit to missionary work.

.

In 1943 he married Sr. Rebeca Hernández Colón; God blessed the fruit of his love with the little ones; Damaris and Priscila. That same year they went together to the mission field in the Dominican Republic. Then they arrived in Cuba where they worked tirelessly seeing the glory of God; the wonders that our beloved Father did in each life that perceived his word; there were miracles, wonders, and hearts that loved sound doctrine. It was 17 years of incessant work at the site, leaving about 60 churches and a beautiful body of the Lord's workers. By God's disposition, he returned to Puerto Rico in 1960, after three years the work of the MMM began

The Rev. Luis M. Ortiz was the founder and promoter of the missionary magazine, "Impacto Evangelístico", which is published internationally to this day. A man of reserved character, humble, firm in his convictions, spiritual, holy, kind in his dealings, especially with the Lord's workers, to whom he provided wise advice and words of encouragement to continue with their work, fighting their battles.

.

The Lord called him into his presence on September 26, 1996; He is remembered as a missionary with a clear and wide vision, he traveled tirelessly supplying evangelistic campaigns, taking part in conventions, congresses, fellowships and missionary conferences; He was an evangelist because he brought many lives closer to Christ; He was a pastor and teacher of the word, he shared the message of salvation in time and out of time, a born writer, more than 200 poems are recorded in his own handwriting.

.

The Work that he carried out is the most important that a man can carry out, permanent faith, constant sacrifice, suffering and abundant fruits, a reflection of many souls surrendered to Jesus Christ, hundreds of established churches and workers requested to missionary service.
